Is there a Starlink military discount?

Short version: we found none. Here is where we looked, what one coupon site claims, and what lowers the cost of Starlink for anyone.

Short answer

No program found

No. We found no Starlink military or veteran discount in the US. Nothing in Starlink’s help articles, legal terms or US price lists offers a special price for service members, veterans or military families, and its US checkout has no box to type a code.

Checked against starlink.com’s US order pages, help center and terms. Our method

A military or veteran price would have to appear somewhere Starlink publishes its prices and offers. So we read those places, with no login and no order placed.

Military and veteran pricing · Starlink’s own sources, plus one comparison site

  1. Help center

Every help article, searched for military, veteran and other group pricing. None describes a discount

    None found

  2. Special Offers

Starlink’s Special Offers document lists no military, veteran or student offer

    None listed

  3. US order lists

The home and travel price lists starlink.com loads: no military, veteran or other group price

    None found

  4. A search of starlink.com’s US interface text for military, veteran and student terms found only marketing stories, such as “Fast, reliable internet for a veteran’s rural home”, and education case studies, with no discount offer

    Stories only

  5. CableTV.com

A broadband comparison site says Starlink makes no pricing distinction for veterans, active-duty military or military families (undated page)

    Agrees

Put together: we found no military, veteran, first-responder, teacher, student or Tesla-owner price in any of Starlink’s help articles, legal terms or US price lists. Searches for a student, teacher or first-responder price turn up nothing either.

The “military code” on a coupon site, checked

One coupon site says otherwise. Here is what it showed when we read it.

Coupon site · military claim

  1. WorthEPenny

    · page and search listing

Headlined “50% Off” and said military members could get 25% off with an RC-DF code, which is a Starlink referral code, not a military program; its own student page says Starlink has no student discount

    A referral, relabeled

We don’t repeat the code here. It isn’t ours, and it isn’t a military code. It has the same RC- shape as every Starlink customer’s referral code, which is what coupon sites often relabel as a “promo code”. What other coupon sites claim.

Why a referral code isn’t a military program

A referral code belongs to one Starlink customer, and Starlink’s terms set out how it works. None of the rules mention service status.

  • It only works inside a link. The order has to go through the existing customer’s own referral link; Starlink’s terms rule out every other route.
  • It takes nothing off. The kit and the first month are paid in full and the dish is activated as usual; the referral takes nothing off at checkout.
  • It isn’t a percentage. Starlink says the reward is a flat $100 in the US, paid after your first two months of service, and the customer whose link it is gets the same.
  • It’s the same for everyone. A referral code has no military version: Starlink’s referral rules are the same for every new customer. A “military” label on a coupon site changes nothing.

How referral codes and links really work, and who they’re for, is on our RC- code page.

There’s no group price, but a few real things change what you pay, whether or not you served. None of them needs a code.

  • Your address sets the Residential price. starlink.com won’t show a Residential price until it has an address, and what you’re offered (plans, prices and promotions) depends on your location and account type.
  • Renting the kit, where offered. Setup runs a one-time $0 to $199, set by your address and plan, against $349 to own the Standard kit.
  • The Mini, for travel plans. $149 on starlink.com.

The full dated list of US offers.

Starlink’s own offers reach US buyers in three ways: a price for your address on the order page, a special starlink.com link, or an email. A real military offer would arrive the same way, not as a code on a coupon site.

We re-read Starlink’s help articles, legal terms and price lists regularly. The date in the short answer above is our latest check. If a military or veteran offer appears, this page will say so, with its source.

Other questions we checked

Is the “military code” on coupon sites real?

It’s a Starlink referral code with a military label added. A referral code works only inside its referral link, the same way for anyone new to Starlink, and it takes nothing off the order. Service status plays no part.
