When a fact on this site was wrong or went out of date, it’s listed here with the date and what changed.
Corrections so far
Before launch, from our own re-reads and a search audit of the site on Nov 4, 2026. Newest first.
News: three older items
Was: Items on events of Nov 4, 2025 (the win-back email), Feb 11, 2026 (the $50 postcard) and Sep 4, 2026 (the AI-codes study) read and were marked up as news of Nov 4, 2026, the day they were written. Now: Each is labeled “Background”, opens with the event date and is marked up as an article, not news. The publish date stays Nov 4, 2026.
Corrected
Current US offers
Was: The answer to “Does Starlink have any promotions right now in the US?” began “Yes”, and the page header gave Oct 30, 2026 as the check date while the body used Nov 3, 2026. Now: The answer says the countrywide US list showed no promotional price on Nov 3, 2026, and lists what did lower the cost; the whole page uses one check date.

What counts as a correction
A fact we printed that was wrong when we printed it, or that Starlink changed after we checked it (a price level, a help-center sentence, the reward amount or its timing). Routine re-checks that change nothing go on the changelog instead.
Facts we already know are moving
- Home-plan prices. Starlink sets them by address, and its no-address price list changed three times between Oct 21 and Nov 3, 2026. We date every level we show.
- The referral help article. Its text changed twice between Oct 21 and Oct 30, 2026 without its “modified” date moving. We track it by its content.
- Holiday offers. Starlink’s 50% banner was coded for Japan and South Korea until Nov 28, 2026. If a US version appears, the home page’s Black Friday answer and the dated offers list change first.
Fact-check standard: each claim here points to the Starlink page it came from (or says so when no page covers it), with the day we read it. No code lists, and no money from coupon sites or stores. Method · How we make money · Corrections
