Reader’s words, not our claims

People search for a “Starlink promo code”, a “coupon” or a “discount code”, so our headings use those words as the questions they are. We never use them for anything we offer. The referral is a reward from Starlink paid after two months, not a code to type or money off, and we describe it that way every time.

No code lists

We don’t list codes, “reveal” them or offer buttons to copy them. When a coupon site shows a customer’s referral code as a promo code, we describe the claim and leave the code off this site.

Dated, sourced facts

Every price, fee, date and rule comes from a source we name, stamped with the day we read it. Starlink’s own pages come first. Press reports are labeled secondary. Where we’re reading Starlink’s text or code ourselves, it says “our reading”. Where nobody has confirmed something, it says so and we don’t turn it into a number or a promise. Starlink prices home plans address by address, so we never print one as “the price”.

Plain disclosure, every time

Every referral button has the full disclosure in the same box, ahead of the button: whose referral link it is, that the owner is rewarded too, who qualifies, and that we’re independent. The header button carries its own note that we earn a reward on orders through it.

Exits before every button

Before any referral button, we list who should skip it: existing customers, people who already ordered, people buying in a store, and anyone holding a genuine Starlink promotion link. Pages for existing customers and for military and veteran questions carry no button. Seniors and readers facing financial hardship get no pages pitched at them.

No pressure

No ticking timers, “last chance” banners or invented scarcity. Our first-visit card shows once per browser, closes with one tap, and never appears on trust pages or pages without a button.

Corrections

When a fact changes or we get one wrong, we fix the page, change its date and log what changed on the corrections page.

Fact-check standard: each claim here points to the Starlink page it came from (or says so when no page covers it), with the day we read it. No code lists, and no money from coupon sites or stores. Method · How we make money · Corrections
