Does Starlink have a promo code? What we checked
Short version: no. Here is what we read on starlink.com, what the codes people find really are, and why coupon sites list them anyway.

Short answer
No public US code
No. As of Nov 3, 2026, Starlink has no public promo code for US orders, and its US checkout has no box to type one. Its real offers arrive as the price for your address, as special starlink.com links and as emails. A referral code exists, but it only works inside a referral link and pays a reward later; it doesn’t lower the order.
Checked against starlink.com’s US order pages, help center and terms. Our method
Where would a Starlink promo code go?
Nowhere we could find. On Nov 3, 2026 we read every place Starlink would have to put a code: the US order and payment screens, the text they load, the US price lists, the help center and the referral terms. None has a field or a rule for a typed promo code. Starlink’s promotions ride in special starlink.com links, its prices are set per address, and its one referral program works only through a link.
Starlink’s own sources · US
Starlink.com’s US order, checkout, cart and payment screens have no field labeled for a promo, coupon or referral code
No code field
The order page reads promotion codes only from special ?promoCode= links, and its error messages tie some offers to the email address they were sent to; there’s no field to type one (from our pass through starlink.com’s scripts)
Links only
The US price lists Starlink loads (home and travel) carried no promotion end date or price cut, apart from the long-running $0 Starlink V5 rental adjustment
No promo prices
The order has to go through the existing customer’s own referral link; Starlink’s terms rule out every other route
Link only
No starlink.com page appeared on the first page of US search results for “starlink promo code”, and Starlink’s help center has no article saying it doesn’t use promo codes
Gap
The referral terms leave no room for a typed code either: the order has to go through the existing customer’s own referral link; Starlink’s terms rule out every other route. A referral counts only when the order goes through the link itself, which is why there’s nothing to type.

What are the Starlink codes people find online?
Four kinds turned up in our Nov 3, 2026 check, and only two do anything; neither is typed in. RC- codes are Starlink customers’ referral codes and work only inside that customer’s link. ?promoCode= links are Starlink’s own promotions. Percent-off codes come from coupon sites, and the “50% off” banner is aimed at Japan and South Korea.
| What you found | What it is | Typed at checkout? | Lowers the order total? |
|---|---|---|---|
| RC- code (“RC-” and numbers) | One Starlink customer’s referral code. Is an RC- code a promo code? | No, it works only inside that customer’s link | No; a qualifying first-time customer gets a $100 reward later |
| Percent-off code (SAVE30, CYBER25) | A coupon-site string; we found no sign Starlink honors any of them | No, there’s no box for it | No |
starlink.com link with ?promoCode= | Starlink’s own promotion, if it came from Starlink. How to check one | No, the offer rides in the link | It carries whatever offer Starlink attached to it |
| “50% off, ends Nov 28” banner | Real, but not for you: Starlink’s late-November 2026 banner offering 50% off hardware and plans is coded to show only to visitors in Japan and South Korea, until Nov 28, 2026; it isn’t a US offer | No | Not for a US address |
Why do coupon sites show Starlink codes anyway?
Coupon sites build a page for nearly every brand people search for and fill it whether or not codes exist. For Starlink, the pages we logged on Nov 3, 2026 showed two things: percent-off codes Starlink doesn’t publish, and real referral codes belonging to strangers, relabeled as promo codes. Coupon sites collect referral codes through bots, browser extensions and scraping, which is how strangers’ referral codes end up listed as promo codes.
AI assistants repeat them. Only 24.5% of the testable codes that ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude suggested for 101 US retailers worked, in a September 2026 Coupons.com study (a secondary report). See what each site claimed.
What does lower the cost of a US order?
None of these needs a code. Starlink’s real offers reach US buyers three ways, and all three land on one screen: the order page starlink.com builds for your address.
Automatic
A price for your address
Area offers and promotional pricing show on the order page once you enter your address. Nothing to enter.
In the link
A starlink.com link with ?promoCode=
Starlink’s own promotion links carry the code in the address bar, like a referral link does.
Tied to your email
An email from @starlink.com
Some offers belong to the email address that received them. Real Starlink email comes only from @starlink.com.
Each one lands on the starlink.com order page before you pay. None of them needs a box to type into.
Separately, the referral program is a reward for first-time customers who qualify, not a discount. The reward is $100, paid after your first two months of service; the terms tie it to invoice number two. The kit and the first month are paid in full and the dish is activated as usual; the referral takes nothing off at checkout. The full dated list of US offers.
The referral link won’t help you if…
You’re a Starlink customer now, or were one
Starlink rewards first-time customers only, so the link can’t do anything for your account. What you can use instead
Your order is already placed
Neither you nor Starlink support can attach a referral to an order once it’s in.
You’re picking up a kit at a retailer
A kit from any store or marketplace earns no reward, with or without the link.
Starlink sent you an offer of its own
Use that first. Nobody has confirmed that it stacks with a referral. How to check it’s real
You want Starlink for a short trip
The reward needs two full billing cycles, and Starlink built the program for people who keep their service.
Other questions we checked
Does Starlink ever give out promo codes?
Not as codes you type. Starlink’s own promotions travel inside starlink.com links (?promoCode=), arrive by email tied to the address that got them, or show as a price for your address on the order page. We found no public code for US orders.
Is there a Starlink promo code for a first order?
No. The only code tied to a first order is a referral, and it isn’t a discount: a first-time US customer who qualifies and orders through a referral link is rewarded $100 by Starlink, which its terms put on the second monthly bill. The first order is paid in full.
Is there a Starlink promo code at Home Depot or other stores?
Stores set their own sale prices; there’s no Starlink code involved. Store kits get no referral reward, so compare the store’s total with what starlink.com shows for your address before you buy.
Why do AI assistants give me Starlink codes?
They often repeat coupon sites, and those list codes Starlink doesn’t publish or strangers’ referral codes. In one September 2026 study, only about a quarter of the store codes AI assistants suggested worked. On Nov 3, 2026, AI answers were also still describing the Starlink referral as “one free month”, a reward Starlink replaced in October.
