Free or discounted Starlink accessories: how Shop offers reach your account
Where Starlink puts accessory deals for current customers, past examples with their dates, why account credit can't pay a Shop order, and what the codes on Amazon listings are.
Key takeaways
- Starlink's accessory offers for current customers show up inside the account, as a $0 or reduced Shop price or as an entry in the account's Coupons list.
- starlink.com has no field for typing a code, so an accessory 'code' from a coupon site has nowhere to go.
- Starlink says service credits aren't applied to Shop orders, so a credit on your bill won't pay for an accessory.
- In December 2025 a customer reported two Mini accessories priced at $0 in the Shop for a short window; Starlink hasn't published a schedule for offers like that.
- Codes on Amazon accessory listings come from the sellers of those products and apply only to their products.
Starlink’s accessory offers show up inside your account, at a $0 or reduced price in the Shop or as a coupon in your account’s Coupons list. There is no code to type.
That’s why a search for a Starlink accessories code turns up so little: Starlink hands these offers to accounts it picks, and the coupon sites that list “codes” for Starlink accessories have nothing to put them in. If you already have Starlink and saw someone mention a free mount or adapter, here’s where to look and what to expect.
Where accessory offers appear: the Shop price, and the account’s Coupons list
Accessories are sold through Starlink’s Shop to people who already have an account. When a signed-in customer clicks “Get Started” on starlink.com, the site sends them to the Shop rather than to the new-customer order form. Offers reach you in one of these ways:
- The Shop price itself. An item shows at $0 or a reduced price when you’re signed in. The offer is the price; nothing else needs doing.
- The Coupons list. starlink.com’s account pages include a Coupons list with a “Uses Remaining” column. A coupon Starlink grants you sits there, attached to your account, and is used up as you buy.
- An email with a link. Starlink also sends some offers by email. Its order pages can take a promotion from a special link and can reject it if you’re signed in with a different email address from the one that received the offer.
What you won’t find is a box to type a code: starlink.com has no field for typing a code, as where to enter a code shows screen by screen.
Past examples, dated
Starlink doesn’t announce accessory offers on a public page, so most of what’s known comes from customers:
- December 2025, Mini accessories. A customer on r/Starlink reported on Dec 18, 2025 that the Mini’s car adapter and roof mount were showing at $0 in the Shop, until the 19th of that month. The thread drew 17 comments. That’s one customer’s report, not a Starlink announcement.
- Late 2025, a router for owners of older routers. Owners have reported that Starlink offered a Router Mini to customers whose first-generation routers stopped getting updates. No Starlink page confirming the offer or its terms was found for this post, so treat it as unconfirmed.
- The Mini itself, for existing customers. starlink.com listed the Mini Kit at $149 on Nov 3, 2026, and DishyTech reported on Oct 14, 2026 that the lower price was open to existing customers as well as new ones. Check the price shown when you’re signed in.
- The Mini with Residential Max. Residential Max subscribers can rent a Mini without a monthly fee, and eligible Roam plans cost them half. Starlink’s Mini Kit for Travel article says the Mini is requested through a “Claim Mini” button in an email Starlink sends after activation, and that if you cancel the home plan or put it in Standby, you must return the Mini or be charged its retail price.
The pattern is the same in each case: an account offer, delivered by price, email or account entry, with no public code and no fixed calendar.
Why account credit can’t pay a Shop order
If your account has credit on it, it’s natural to try to spend it on an accessory. Starlink’s service credit article rules that out: “service credits are not applied to any immediate transactions or pro-rated costs (i.e. reactivation, plan changes, shop orders).” Credits are applied only to monthly subscription charges.
What a credit does pay follows a fixed pattern. Starlink applies it to the next bill that appears in your account; if a bill is already pending when the credit lands, it goes on the one after. It never takes off more than that statement’s total, and your card on file is charged whatever is left. So the useful way to think about account credit is as a smaller monthly bill, not as Shop money.
Starlink’s billing credits article says credits come in three types: generic, service and hardware. It doesn’t say whether a hardware credit can pay for a Shop item, so don’t count on any credit for an accessory unless the Shop checkout applies it. Your credits, with their available balance, are listed at starlink.com/account/billing, in the credit table below the invoices. Starlink’s help center and legal documents describe no way to buy credit.
Accessory “codes” on coupon sites and Amazon listings: third-party sellers’ codes, not Starlink’s
Coupon sites list Starlink codes in the same made-up style they use for every store. One page logged on Nov 3, 2026 showed 23 codes in the “SAVE and a number” style, with no amounts, dates or proof. Those can’t be entered at Starlink’s Shop any more than at its order page.
Amazon is different. Many accessories for Starlink are made and sold by other companies, and their listings can carry real coupons or deals from those sellers. A Slickdeals post, for example, featured a StarGear car adapter for the Mini at $13.49 on Amazon. That’s a deal on StarGear’s product from its seller, not a Starlink offer, and it says nothing about Starlink’s own accessories. Before you buy, check who makes the item and who sells it.
Checking an accessory offer email
An email promising Starlink gear at no cost is an easy hook for phishing, so check the sender against Starlink’s phishing article, then skip the link: type starlink.com, sign in, and look at the Shop price or your Coupons list, where a real offer will already be attached to your account. How real Starlink promotions reach you covers emailed offers in more depth, and promotions for existing customers lists the other offers current customers can use.
Questions about this
Is there a Starlink promo code for accessories?
Starlink doesn't take typed codes on starlink.com. Accessory offers show up as a Shop price or as a coupon already attached to your account.
Can I pay for a Starlink accessory with account credit?
Starlink says service credits aren't applied to immediate transactions such as Shop orders. They come off monthly subscription charges instead.
Where do Starlink coupons show up?
starlink.com's account pages include a Coupons list with a 'Uses Remaining' column, so a coupon Starlink grants you is attached to your account rather than typed in.
Are the accessory codes on Amazon from Starlink?
No. Codes on Amazon listings for chargers, mounts or adapters come from the sellers of those products, which are often not Starlink.
