Cash back on Starlink: card offers, cash-back sites and browser extensions, checked
What a bank's card offer is, which cash-back sites and extensions had anything for US starlink.com orders, and how each one sits next to Starlink's own referral reward.
Key takeaways
- Card-linked offers such as Chase Offers are paid by your bank, not Starlink, and only show for cardholders the bank picks.
- A Chase offer of 30% back, up to $30 a charge for three charges, ran on Starlink from about March 2026 until Sep 11 or 12, 2026, per customer and deal-forum reports.
- On Nov 4, 2026, TopCashback's and Rakuten's US Starlink pages returned 'not found'; TopCashback's UK site listed an offer for UK buyers only.
- starlink.com's US checkout has no field for a code, so coupon browser extensions have nowhere to put one.
- A site that sends you to starlink.com through a link carrying someone's referral code replaces any referral already open in that tab.
On Nov 4, 2026, neither TopCashback nor Rakuten had a working US page for Starlink, and the one bank card offer reported on Starlink charges in 2026, from Chase, ended in mid-September after paying up to $90 back. Neither one is a code, and neither replaces the reward Starlink itself pays first-time customers who order through a referral link.
Money back on a Starlink order can come from three places outside Starlink: your bank, a cash-back site or a browser extension. Each works differently, and each touches your order at a different moment.
| Type | Who pays | How you get it | Found for US starlink.com orders | Effect on a referral link |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Card-linked offer | Your bank | Add the offer to your card in the bank’s app, then pay Starlink with that card | Chase: 30% back, up to $30 a charge, three charges; reported from March 2026, ended Sep 11 or 12, 2026 | None: no link is involved |
| Cash-back site | The cash-back site | Click through the site’s link before you buy | TopCashback US and Rakuten: page not found (Nov 4, 2026). TopCashback UK: an offer for UK buyers | If its link carries a referral code, that code replaces the one in your tab |
| Coupon browser extension | Nobody pays you | The extension tries codes at checkout | No code field in starlink.com’s US checkout (Nov 3, 2026) | Unconfirmed; check the order page |
| Starlink’s referral reward | Starlink | Order on starlink.com through a referral link, in the same tab | $100 for first-time US customers after two months subscribed (terms of Oct 7, 2026) | This is the referral |
What a card-linked offer is: your bank pays it, not Starlink
A card-linked offer is a deal your card issuer sets up with a merchant and shows inside your card account. Chase calls them Chase Offers; American Express runs Amex Offers. You add the offer to your card, pay the merchant with that card, and the bank later credits part of the charge back to you.
Three things follow from that setup. Starlink isn’t the one paying, so nothing shows on starlink.com and there is nothing to type at checkout. The offer is targeted, so two people holding the same card can see different offers, or none. And every condition belongs to the bank: a minimum charge, a cap per charge, a number of uses and an end date, all written in the offer text in your account.
That also means a card offer for Starlink follows the merchant on the charge. A kit bought at a store is charged by the store, so an offer tied to Starlink as the merchant wouldn’t normally cover it.
The Chase offer on Starlink, dated
The one card offer on Starlink that customers and deal forums reported in 2026 came from Chase. As customers quoted it, it paid 30% back on Starlink charges, up to $30 per charge, for up to three charges, so $90 at most, with a $6 minimum charge. Reports go back to about March 12, 2026. An r/Starlink post on May 15, 2026 described it on a Chase Freedom Unlimited card, and deal-forum listings give the end date as Sep 11 or Sep 12, 2026, depending on the source.
Chase doesn’t publish card offers on a public page, so these terms come from secondary sources: Doctor of Credit, a Slickdeals thread and the Reddit post that quotes the offer. Search results on Nov 4, 2026 still surfaced the offer as if it were running. It wasn’t.
What “30% back, up to $30 a charge” meant in practice:
- A charge of $100 or more earned the $30 cap. A $349 Standard kit (Starlink’s US list price on Nov 3, 2026) would have earned $30, not $104.70.
- A smaller charge earned 30% of itself. A $49.50 monthly bill (Residential 100 Mbps, as Starlink’s countrywide figures stood on Nov 3, 2026) would have earned $14.85. Your own Residential price depends on your address.
- Three charges was the limit, so an order-day charge plus the first two monthly bills would have used it up.
Forum posts that quoted the terms mention further conditions. Because the primary page isn’t public and the sources disagree on details such as the end date, those conditions aren’t repeated here. If a new Chase offer for Starlink appears in your account, its own text is the only version that counts.
Cash-back sites: what turned up for US starlink.com orders
Cash-back sites pass you part of what a store pays them for sending a buyer. On Nov 4, 2026, TopCashback’s US page for Starlink and Rakuten’s Starlink page both returned “not found”. TopCashback’s UK site did list Starlink, with the line “Get £50 of the price back”, but that listing is for UK buyers and says nothing about US orders. Other US cash-back sites, such as Capital One Shopping, BeFrugal and Swagbucks, weren’t checked for this post.
There’s one more reason to look closely at any site offering money back on Starlink. starlink.com keeps a referral code only in the browser tab you opened it in, and a newer referral link always replaces the stored one. Coupon sites gather customers’ referral codes through bots, browser extensions and scraping, according to ReferralCandy, which is how strangers’ codes end up listed as promo codes. If a site sends you to starlink.com through a link that carries someone’s referral code, that code replaces whatever referral was already in the tab. The coupon sites log shows what those sites claimed on Nov 3, 2026.
Coupon browser extensions on starlink.com: there’s no code box to fill
Coupon extensions work by pasting codes into a checkout’s code field and keeping whichever lowers the total. starlink.com’s US order, checkout, cart and payment screens had no field labeled for a promo, coupon or referral code on Nov 3, 2026. Starlink’s own promotions reach buyers in other ways: as the price shown for an address, as a special starlink.com link, or as an offer tied to the email address that received it. Where to enter a code walks through those screens.
Honey does have a Starlink store page; its title advertised coupons, promo codes and deals for November 2026 when it was seen on Nov 3, 2026. A page title is not a code that works. Whether any extension changes the link you arrive on, or adds anything to a starlink.com page, is unconfirmed. If you opened a referral link before ordering, the simple check is the order page itself: it should show “Referral Code Applied” before you pay.
Does a card offer combine with a referral link?
They come from different payers. A card offer is paid by your bank on a charge you make with that card. Starlink’s referral reward is paid by Starlink, after two months subscribed, to a first-time US customer who ordered on starlink.com through a referral link: $100 in the US, as account credit by default or as cash where the account offers it. Starlink hasn’t said whether an order with a rented kit qualifies. Its referral terms don’t mention card offers, cash-back sites or bank programs at all, so they neither allow nor rule out using both. Treat combining them as unconfirmed, not promised.
Timing matters more than the rules. The referral reward lands on a later bill: the terms say the second monthly subscription invoice, while the help center names 60 days after activation as the earliest it can arrive. Starlink’s own example of how a credit works is a $100 credit on a $120 invoice, which leaves $20 due, and the card on file is charged what’s left. A percentage-back card offer pays on the charge, so a bill that a credit has shrunk earns less back. With a 30% offer, a $20 charge returns $6, where a $120 charge would have reached a $30 cap.
How to check your own card’s offers before you order
- Open your card’s app or website and search its offers section for Starlink. Add any offer you find before you pay; card offers generally don’t cover charges made before you add them.
- Read the conditions: the minimum charge, the cap per charge, how many charges count, the end date and the merchant name the bank expects to see.
- Map the offer onto Starlink’s charges. On starlink.com, the order is charged at checkout. Service is billed separately: month one is charged at activation or a week after delivery, or, under the Terms of Service, 30 days after shipping if the carrier logs no delivery. Each later bill repeats on that calendar day.
- Pay every charge the offer should cover with the same card. If you change the card on file, later bills go to the new card.
- If you’re ordering through a referral link, open it when you’re ready to order, finish in that same tab and look for “Referral Code Applied” on the order page.
Starlink’s real US offers, with the date each was checked, are on current US offers. None of them is a code either.
The referral link won’t help you if…
- You have, or had, Starlink
- Your order is already in
- The kit comes from a store
- Starlink sent you its own offer
- You need it for one short trip
Questions about this
Is there a Chase offer on Starlink right now?
The one reported in 2026 ended in mid-September (Sep 11 or 12, depending on the source). Card offers are targeted, so the only way to know whether your card has a new one is to look in your own card account.
Can I get cash back on starlink.com through Rakuten or TopCashback?
Not on Nov 4, 2026: both US Starlink pages returned 'not found' that day. TopCashback's UK site listed a Starlink offer, but it is for UK buyers.
Does a card offer combine with a Starlink referral link?
Starlink's referral terms don't mention card offers, and a card offer is between you and your bank. Nothing in the referral terms rules one out, but Starlink hasn't said they combine, so treat it as unconfirmed.
Will a coupon browser extension find a Starlink code at checkout?
There's no code field in starlink.com's US checkout for it to fill. Whether any extension changes the link you arrive through is unconfirmed, so if you opened a referral link, check that 'Referral Code Applied' still shows on the order page.
